A Shot in the Dark
Torn on this book. Think it's a solid 3.5 stars for me. I liked the characters, but the heroine, Carrie, drove me a little batty with her flip-flopping between the "good" guy and "bad" guy. I'm also not crazy about the overall vampire mythology in this book. Found the sire bond on the creepy side. That said, the world building is solid, the plot well constructed, and the characters complex. I'll be picking up the next book.
